Anaiah News, October 2015

It’s the start of a new quarter, and this one is particularly emotional for us here at Anaiah. It’s been two years, almost to the day, since Anaiah Press was born. Two years ago, we were a bunch of bright-eyed and bushy-tailed dreamers, eagerly awaiting the day our first book would launch. It seemed like that day would never come. Now, it feels like we’ve been doing this forever—in a good way.

So, today, as we’re reflecting on the last two years and looking toward great things in our future, I wanted to take a few moments to thank you, our readers, our authors, our supporters, for all of your encouragement, prayers, and support. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you.

With more than thirty active authors signed, we now have a backlist of over twenty-five titles, with more scheduled into 2016, and even 2017. In fact, our 2016 lineup is essentially full, and we receive so many submissions, we had to temporarily close our children’s imprint to subs earlier this year. We’ve come a long way from where we started, and Lord willing, we’ll go even farther in the years to come.

Here’s what you can look forward to in the next few months:

asteriskWe’re officially making the move away from digital-first publishing, and our titles are now releasing in print/POD and digital formats simultaneously. We’ve been actively moving our backlist into print/POD, and within the next few months, our entire lineup—both current and backlist— will be available in paperback.

asteriskThe sequels to several of our amazing 2014 and 2015 releases are scheduled to release over the next several months, and starting October 10th, we’ll be featuring those series and their authors here on our blog on the second Saturday of each month. Join us for Series Saturdays so you don’t miss great deals and giveaways.

asteriskGoing forward, we’ll be introducing you to our authors and upcoming books here on our blog. Don’t forget to check back often for the latest news about Anaiah authors, books, giveaways, sales, and events.

Thanks again for two great years. We’re looking forward to many more!
