Where can readers find you online?

They can find me on Facebook, Instagram- and on twitter @todtjerry.

What’s your favorite holiday movie and why?

There are so many it’s hard to choose one, so I will chose two! Lol.  It’s A Wonderful Life and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. It’s a Wonderful Life – puts things in perspective for me especially during the holidays. When most of your time is centered on presents and decorating, it’s a nice reminder of what is really important not just around the holidays but all year round. Family and friends is what makes this life worth living. Christmas Vacation just makes me laugh and reminds me of some of my own Christmas’.

What’s your favorite thing about the holiday season?

I love the way people are just different during the holidays. People are just more friendly during the holidays.

What inspired you to write a book based around Christmas?

It is my favorite time of year as well as my favorite holiday. It brings me so much joy and I hope I get to share that with my readers.

Have you written a full length novel before? What’s the most difficult aspect of writing a novella versus a full length novel?

I have written several full length novels and the hardest part of writing a novella is getting the entire story in a book half the size of a full length novel. With a full length, you have so much more time to fully develop the story. With a novella, you have to be precise with your words in order to accomplish the same thing you would in a full length novel.

What’s your favorite holiday dinner?

My favorite holiday dinner is anything served with sweet potato casserole but it has to be my mother’s recipe. It brings back so many holiday memories from my childhood. It’s very nostalgic for me.

Thanks for joining us today, Jerry!
